The Windhoek Home of Golf Cup tournament is designed for players who enjoy good competition, great beer, and better courses.

Here is how the 2026 season works:

Play Your Way

You don’t need to commit to the entire calendar to participate.

• You can play just 1 round of golf (without qualifying for the overall leaderboard).
• To qualify for the overall leaderboard, a minimum of 3 (three) rounds is required.

• Flexible Entry: You can book as many or as few rounds as you wish. Whether you join us for a single weekend in Mossel Bay or the full tour, you are welcome on the tee.

• • Per Round: Each ticket covers one round for exactly two players (2-Ball).

  • More Players: Buy multiple tickets to accommodate more players (e.g., 2 tickets = 4 players; 3 tickets = 6 players; etc.)

  • More Rounds: Buy multiple tickets for each round to accommodate your players at the courses you wish to play.

• Extras: Green fees and carts are included.

You will navigate any of the ten distinct challenges before the season culminates at the country’s most coveted private club.

Competition Format

• Betterball Stableford
• 85% Course Handicap
• Previous handicap golfers to play off their last official handicap (85%)
• Unhandicapped gents to play off a handicap of 18
• Unhandicapped ladies to play off a handicap of 24
• Scorecards MUST be handed in after play – GGC Bar

The Essentials & Logistics

• The Leaderboard: Consistency counts. Every round your team plays contributes to your standing on the official cup leaderboard. The more you play, the better your chances of securing a spot in the final at Fancourt.

• A minimum of 3 rounds (best of 3 rounds) puts your team on the cup leaderboard.

• Carts & Caddies: Your entry fee covers the green fees and carts.

• Merch: Official branded golf shirts are available for order at the advertised cost. Get the golf shirts from our shop.

• Collection: If you order a shirt, we will have it ready for you to collect before tee-off at your next event.

How to Enter

1. Find a Partner: Pick a teammate for the 2-Ball format.

2. For the overall Cup Competition, your team need to stay the same.

3. Select Your Rounds: Check the schedule and book the specific dates that work for you. (Remember: 1 Ticket = 2 Players).

4. Add Gear: Order a branded shirt for you and your partner from our shop. Select the event where you want to collect your shirts at the checkout.

5. Chase the Final: Check the leaderboard after every round to see where you stand in the race for the final.
