Processing Your Payment

Home of Golf Africa (George Joint Marketing Association NPC) uses Zapper to process online payments. Our website does not store any user payment data.

⚠️ Offsite Processing:
Zapper uses a secure redirect or an encrypted hosted payment window. When a customer pays, they scan a QR code or use the Zapper app, meaning their credit card data never enters or touches our website’s server.

You can pay via Zapper using the QR code or, alternatively with any reputable Bank card.

Payment Issues

When a user experiences checkout issues or the Zapper redirect fails to load, the disruption is usually caused by temporary browser restrictions, network drops, or bank-side authentications.

1. Try These Options:

  • Clear Browser Cache or Try Incognito Mode: Blocked pop-ups, strict ad-blockers, or stored cache files can prevent the Zapper external hosted window from launching. Switching to private browsing resolves most scripts from hanging.
  • Switch from Mobile Web to the Zapper App: If you are on a mobile browser and the app-switch fails, they should try using a desktop computer to complete checkout and use your phone to scan the generated QR code directly.
  • Check the 3D Secure / Banking App: Zapper transactions frequently trigger a 3D Secure push notification. If the redirect page is blank, you should manually open your banking app to check if an authorisation request is waiting for approval.
  • Verify Card Status and Limits in the App: Ensure the card linked to their Zapper account hasn’t expired and is fully activated by your bank for online/e-commerce transactions.

2. Alternative “Scan to Pay” Options (No Zapper App Required)

If the Zapper redirect still won’t load, but a Zapper QR code is successfully showing on screen, you do not strictly need the core Zapper app to pay. Zapper’s network interoperability allows you to use alternative apps:

  • Banking Apps: Most major South African banking apps (e.g., FNB, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Capitec) have built-in “Scan to Pay” features that can successfully scan and clear Zapper QR codes.
